HI, I'M MARCEL

After working with technology companies and for technology brands for almost a decade, I took my technical skills to the next level and got a certificate in web development.

I completed a certification in Full Stack Coding at the University of Toronto. I have skills in HMTL, CSS, and JavaScript. I'm also working with React and Gatsby. Both as a product leader and developer, I have worked with APIs, IoT products, and connectivity platforms. Check out my Github for more details.

Data analytics has been a major interest of mine ever since focusing on quantitative research in university. I have used SPSS for research projects extensively. For work purposes, I am an advanced user of Microsoft Excel and have solid knowledge of the SQL query language.

I am also a Certified Scrum Product Owner® (you can view my credential here).

Born and raised in Stuttgart, Germany, the birthplace of the automobile, I have been involved in the automotive industry ever since starting out my professional career. I have worked with OEMs, automotive suppliers, vehicle software companies, as well as cities and municipalities.

In addition to that, I have become involved with enterprise software. Aside from working with brands like SAP, I have recently helped a young enterprise software company in Silicon Valley build a new B2B brand and software product. We raised $2M of seed funding in the process.

The greater technology industry complements my professional focus areas: I have worked with consumer electronics companies, but also with telecommunications companies on initiatives around 5G and IoT applications.

My international background empowers me with unique insights into different markets and a great understanding of our globalized economy. I’m very passionate about working with people from different cultural backgrounds!

I am fluent in English and German. Currently, I am working on making my French business fluent.
